Hazmat Traffic Studies

The Guide for Using Hazmat Transportation Information: Recommendations and Resources for Local Emergency Planners, was supported by a U.S. Department of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration grant. The development of this document was funded through the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant Program, administered by the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), Preparedness Section.

The document describes general and functional area recommendations, tools for evaluating risk, and describes other references and resources for emergency planners.
